All About Me!
Hi, My name is Diane Leitheiser and I have been teaching at Simmons Middle School since 2003. I graduated from South Dakota State University with a major in Family and Consumer Sciences and minors in Human Development and Music. I recently finished my Masters in Education from Northern State University.
I grew up on my family's dairy farm outside Emery, SD where I attended and graduated from Emery High School in 1999.
I enjoy reading, listening to music, theater, baking, quilting, and being with family and friends.

This past summer I had the opportunity to attend a food safety training in Washington D.C. sponsored by the Food and Drug Administration! I can't wait to do some of the experiments with my students! Follow THIS LINK to view the Aberdeen American News article on the training.
